Welcome to my blog! The unprecedented times brought by the COVID-19 crisis motivated me to start writing. Instead of dwelling on the negativities around me, I wanted to use this time to share my journey, how I overcame obstacles and hopefully motivate you along the way. I am a premed who recently graduated from CUNY Hunter college with a B.A. in Biological Sciences. During my gap year, I will be working as a Clinical Research Technician at the Hospital for Special Surgery, to keep on doing what I love and explore the field of medicine. Being a premed has not been easy, but from day one, I was determined to enjoy the process instead of waiting to enjoy the end goal. As I am writing this post, I am in the middle of the 2020-2021 medical school application cycle while studying for the MCAT exam. I can't wait to see where life takes me next and I look forward to sharing it with everyone!
